Cancellation Terms for Signature Experiences & Virtual Experiences:

 

STANDARD EXPERIENCE

 

- A 100% payment is required to secure bookings for all tours/experiences.

- No refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours or less before the tour start date and time.

- Cancellations between 72 hours and 49 hours before the start time incur a 50% cancellation fee.

- Rescheduling within 24 hours before a tour starts is subject to a 50% service charge, based on availability and at the discretion of Alt Esc. 

 

PRIVATE EXPERIENCE 

 

- Participants can cancel with a full refund (less 10% cancellation charges) if notified at least 5 days before the tour/experience.

- Late cancellations: 50% if within 4 days of the trial, 100% if within 1 day or on the day of the trial.

- No refund for no-shows without prior cancellation.

 

PRIVATE TOURS/EXPERIENCES (Booked Over a Month in Advance) 

 

- Confirmation requires a 50% payment of the total trial costs, with the balance due a month before the trial date.

- Standard cancellation charges apply only to the advance paid until a month before the trial date.

- No cancellation charges for reducing group size a month before the trial date, except when it affects concurrent trials booked for the day.

 

CANCELLATION TERMS FOR HIDDEN GEM EXPERIENCES 

 

- Specific cancellation terms for Hidden Gem Experiences recommended by in-house travel partners. Refer to the product page for details.

 

REFUND CONDITIONS

 

Refunds under the following conditions:

- Booking cancelled by ALTERNATE ESCAPES.

- Non-delivery of booking to the recipient by ALTERNATE ESCAPES (excluding cases of unfounded recipients).

- Quality complaint investigated by the ALTERNATE ESCAPES management team, resulting in a confirmed issue, warrants a full refund.

 

REFUND REQUEST & EVALUATION 

 

- A refund can only be requested for service failure, subject to evaluation by the ALTERNATE ESCAPES management team.

- The refund amount will not exceed the amount paid by the customer; ALTERNATE ESCAPES is not liable for losses beyond the paid amount.

- No refund for discounted or exempted amounts.

- ALTERNATE ESCAPES reserves the right to decide on all matters related to Cancellation and Refund.

- The Cancellation And Refund Policy may be amended by ALTERNATE ESCAPES; substantial changes will be notified via email or website announcement.
